If you're looking for an easy way to optimize your website, then the SEO assistant feature of MarketingCopy AI might be just the thing you need. Let's take a look at how it works.
SEO Report
In order to use the SEO assistant you need to create an SEO report for a document. To create a new SEO report, just open a new document or an existing document and click the SEO assistant button from the bottom of the editor.
This will open the SEO Report view in the sidebar. If a report has not been created for a document then you will be asked to enter a query for which you want to rank for and select the location where you want that content to rank.
At the moment our SEO assistant supports the following countries for SEO optimization and ranking.
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- Canada
- Germany
- France
- Finland
- Japan
- Netherlands
- Russia
- India
Once the country has been selected, click the "Generate SEO Report" button and it will take a few moments for our software to generate an SEO report. Once an SEO report is generated you will see the following Guidelines view.
Guidelines
The guidelines view has a number of different components that you can see. In this view you will see the content score, recommendations and the keywords to be used for SEO optimization. The guidelines view provides the user with guidelines and recommendations to implement in order to optimize their content for SEO and achieve a higher ranking in SERP results.
Content Score
The core of the main guidelines is the content score. Our content score summarizes how well your content is optimized for the topic that you are trying to cover. This is calculated by comparing the total word count to the word count of your top competitors, keyword density and keyword usage, total headings in the content, total paragraphs in the content and the total images in the content. The content score also takes into account the overall structure of the content. This score determines how optimized your content is for SEO. The higher the score the better the optimization.
For each of the 4 main attributes our AI calculates a range for you to use. This range value is calculated by comparing the top competitors and calculating a range that will allow you to compete and outrank the competition. For example for the SEO report above the recommended word limit is between 2400 and 4000. Having a total word count in this range with the right keywords used will allow you to achieve a high content score and ultimately rank your content higher in search results.
In order to optimize the content for SEO and achieve a high content score here are some recommendations to follow
- Have the total word count in the recommended range
- Use the SEO keywords with the right frequency
- Have the total headings in the recommended range
- Have the total paragraphs in the recommended range
- Have the total images in the recommended range
As you update the content and optimize it you will see the Content Score will increase.
Keywords
In the keywords section you will see a list of keywords that our NLP algorithm extracts from the SERP results and also extracts the relevant keywords from 3rd party platforms including Semrush and SERPStat. The keywords are selected based on their volume and difficulty. Our AI selects the keywords that have higher volume and lower difficulty and will allow the user to achieve a higher ranking for their query. You can place the cursor on top of the keyword to check its volume and difficulty score. SEO keywords with difficulty less than 40 are easier to rank for as compared to keywords with higher difficulty. The volume of the keyword determines how many searches there are for that keyword. The higher the volume the better the clicks and traffic will be.
Each keyword has a checkbox and when a user clicks the checkbox this select the keyword for our AI writer to use when it's creating new content whether that'd be with the Instruct AI feature or Write for me feature or any other. With this feature you can select the keywords and our AI will use those when creating new content.
Each keyword comes with its range as well. This range determines how many times this keyword should be used in the content. When a keyword is used the optimal number of times i.e within its range in the content, the color of that keyword will change from red to green denoting that it has been used the optimal number of times and you will see the content score go up.

When it comes to creating SEO optimized content, analyzing SERP results is an important step. This information can help you identify which keywords and phrases are being searched for most often on Google, and what type of content will be the most effective in attracting these visitors. By understanding your competition, you can create more targeted blog posts that will rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs). This information also allows you to identify which topics are popular with your audience and where they might be interested in learning more about your business or product. Armed with this knowledge, you can begin creating blog posts that focus on these topics.
In the SERP (Search Engine Results Page) results section you will see the top SERP results for the query that you want to rank. These are the top competitors that are currently ranking for this query. In order to outrank the competition you need to analyse their content and identify opportunities. Luckily this is automatically done by our AI algorithms which provide you with detailed analysis and recommendations that you need to implement in order to compete with the top competitors. The top section shows the average word count, headings count, images count and link counts from the top results. This gives an idea to the user of the attributes of the top ranking pages and gives them insights on how they need to structure their blogs and articles in order to achieve top level ranking.
With each SERP result you will
